How My Garage works
Where are my saved cars stored?
Only in this browser's local storage — on this device, under the "tcm_garage" key. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and there is no account to sign into.
Can I compare a new car against a used one?
Yes. Save any car in new mode, used mode, or both — the comparison table lines them up side by side with the config you saved each with.
What if the same car gets saved twice?
The garage dedupes automatically: a car with the same new/used mode and the same price won't be added twice. Change the price or mode and it counts as a new entry.
Will my garage disappear if I clear my browser data?
Yes — clearing site data or local storage wipes the garage, since that is the only place it lives. It also won't follow you to another device or browser.
